Explore our destinations
Pristine greens and breathtaking landscapes await. Our curated selection of golf destinations combine luxury, character and unparalleled play. Whether you’re teeing off at world-renowned courses or hidden gems, each location promises an enlivening, memorable experience. Read more about each area we specialise in below.
Australia
Australia has become one of the most sought after golfing destinations in global golf travel.
There are 7 golf courses in the world’s top 100 and several others that are must-plays. There is easily enough to see and do for four weeks worth of travel, though most of our clients choose a well-rounded two. We focus on the Sandbelt of Victoria, the rugged landscape of Tasmania and King Island, the red soil of South Australia, the heritage of Sydney, and the laid-back vibe of Queensland.
Australia has some of the best restaurants and hotels in the world, with a depth of culture that is unique and respected around the world. A trip to Australia is one that you will never regret.
New Zealand
New Zealand is probably the most visually stunning country in the world. With a population of only 5 million people, it has certainly produced its fair share of incredible golf courses: Te Arai Links, just 90mins drive north of Auckland, to Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs, as well as many other gems in the North Island. In the South Island, we love Jack’s Point, The Hills (currently undergoing renovations), Millbrook, Arrowtown and Queenstown GC.
New Zealand offers some of the finest accommodations, including the world renowned Huka Lodge in Taupo, and Rosewood at KC and CK.
For golf and the overall experience, NZ truly is a bucket list destination.
Nova Scotia, Canada
Nova Scotia is known as Canada’s Ocean Playground. From mid May to mid October it is also a golfer’s playground. Home to Canada’s number one ranked golf course Cabot Cape Breton (Cliffs) and number three ranked course Cabot Cape Breton (Links), this 5* resort attracts the most discerning golfers from all over the world.
Nova Scotia has many other charming golf courses from Chester GC on the South Shore, to Links at Brunello in Halifax, to Fox Harb’r on the Northumberland Straight – another 5* resort that will soon have two 18-hole Championship courses, Vineyard and Ocean.
With some outstanding restaurants as well as the “east coast” charm, NS is an easily accessible destination.
Great Britain & Ireland
Scotland, especially the Isle of Arran, is The Pure Golfer’s spiritual home. It’s where the founder, Gavin, learnt how to play golf. His grandparents lived in St Andrews and sold their family home to the Links Trust.
With so many destinations to visit around the British Isles, this destination commands multiple visits. With luxury accommodations and world class restaurants, ‘The Home of Golf’ is the gold standard for golf travel anywhere in the world.
USA
In a country that has revolutionised the game of golf, there are so many options for the golf traveller.
The Pure Golfer tends to focus on certain areas, including the Monterey Peninsula, San Diego, Bandon Dunes, Florida and Pinehurst in North Carolina. Get in touch to discuss tour requirements.
