A note from the founder
The Pure Golfer is a golf experience company, dreamed up when I was caddying at The Old Course in St Andrews. It took me almost two more decades of gathering skills and experience as a client lead in Advertising and Consulting, and as General Manager of a corporate retreat, before I decided the time was right to embark on this journey.
Golf has been a central part of my life since the age of five, when I learned to play at Shiskine Golf & Tennis Club on the Isle of Arran, during summer holidays. When I finished my schooling, it was golf that brought me to the Gold Coast of Australia, where I discovered year-round play and a culture that deeply resonated.
As an avid traveller myself, I understand the excitement of a new destination and the feeling of freedom from a day on the greens. The essence of TPG is built on our knowledge and passion for golf, so when it comes to orchestrating an unforgettable holiday, you’re in safe hands. We work with multiple currencies – usually the currency of the tour destination – but predominantly USD.
No, however, we work with other tour operators who are and would be glad to make the arrangements as part of your tour.

Yes we can. We ship golf clubs and luggage all over the world. Just let us know what you require.
With so much interest in golf travel globally, the sooner the better. It depends on where you are going, but some clubs open their tee sheets twelve months in advance and others twenty-four. Some courses also have specific booking windows. Whatever your timing, we will work with you to deliver everything you are dreaming of.
Groups of up to 12 people for golf tours and larger groups for golf days and corporate events.
One thing we cannot control is the weather. Generally, golf courses will not refund golf rounds unless the course is deemed unplayable for safety reasons. Courses will do their best to reschedule your round at a suitable time. TPG will always endeavour to work with the golf course and client to get the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
